What is included
A pair of ODYSSEY MX Peg Downs with your selected Quick Pin or Key-Lock Stainless Steel pin setup, load-rated connection hardware, replaceable UHMWPE wear liners and stainless installation hardware.
How does positive compression work?
As the Peg Down engages, it draws the motorcycle into a defined mechanical position through the footpeg. The compression is created inside the restraint system, not by pulling the handlebars down and holding the forks under strap tension.
Why restrain the bike through the footpegs?
The foot pegs give the Peg Downs a low, center, direct mechanical connection to the motorcycle. This lets the restraint control the bike without relying on straps attached high at the bars or using the suspension to maintain tension.
Is the bike locked completely rigid?
No, and that is deliberate. Peg Downs mechanically limit uncontrolled movement while the shackle geometry allows the controlled articulation designed into the system. The motorcycle stays positively restrained without trying to make the bike and carrier one completely rigid object over corrugations, braking, potholes and rough tracks.
What is the replaceable UHMWPE liner for?
The UHMWPE liner is a replaceable wear surface inside the Peg Down cup. It protects the peg from metal-on-metal wear, so the part designed to take the abuse can be replaced if needed.

Peg Downs are purpose-built for Moto Dock® and can also be installed on suitable trays, vans and trailers. Bike compatibility depends on foot peg geometry, selected pin setup, motorcycle weight and the structure they are mounted to.
